THE STORY OF US:
From Friendship to Forever

She is a thinker; he is a relator.
She is an introvert; he is an extrovert.
She is a bookworm; he is a movie buff.
They were complete opposites in many ways, yet it was their shared relationship with Jesus that brought them together.
They first met at the local Christian church called More Than Conquerors Fellowship (MTCF) in 2011, when she first attended there. He was already part of the Worship Team as the band drummer years before she attended MTCF.
In December of 2012, she joined the Worship Team as a backup singer.
It was in this shared ministry that their friendship began to take root in 2013. What started as a simple connection over music and faith soon blossomed into something much deeper.
They were friends who genuinely cared for one another, offering support and encouragement along the way.
In 2015, their individual paths took them in different directions. He entered medical school, while she began her first job. Despite the growing distance, their communication deepened, and their friendship only strengthened with time.
By 2019, he had graduated from medical school fulfilling his lifelong dream. In September 2020, she made a bold move—enrolling in a new academic path to pursue a degree in Accountancy. Meanwhile, in November 2020, he passed the rigorous Physician Licensure Examination.
Through all of this, they remained constant in each other’s lives, offering unwavering support and encouragement as each faced their own challenges and milestones. Their friendship had evolved into a deep and lasting bond.
In June 2021, after years of supporting one another, he asked her to be his girlfriend, marking the beginning of their romantic relationship. Though they had always been there for each other, now their shared journey took on a new, exciting chapter. They continued to support each other through every new endeavor, and with each step, their love only grew stronger.
Then, in February 2024, during a heartfelt event that they, along with his brothers and sister-in-law, had organized for his mother’s 60th birthday, he took another life-changing step—he proposed to her.
It has been a beautiful journey, one that started with friendship and grew into a love rooted in faith, trust, and mutual support. Looking back, they both feel blessed, knowing that through it all, God has been guiding their relationship. And as they step into this new chapter, they both hope and believe that God continues to smile upon them, as a couple united in love and faith.

THE PROPOSAL

Planning a surprise proposal for someone who notices every detail comes with its own set of challenges. I had to make sure she didn’t suspect anything—if she caught even the smallest hint, she might figure it all out before the big moment. It had to be a day when the people who mattered most to us would be there, and she had to look her best without ever seeing it coming.
February 16, 2024, turned out to be the perfect day for the perfect excuse. That evening, a formal event set the stage for my surprise. Guests, including both of our families gathered to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday, a milestone we were all eager to honor. The celebration provided the perfect cover, and no one, least of all Hannah, suspected what was about to unfold.
After the party wound down, I grabbed the microphone and called for everyone's attention. I had prepared a short video that captured the special moments Hannah and I had shared throughout our relationship. As the video played, I watched the puzzled expressions of our guests slowly turn to surprise and awe. By the time it ended, all eyes were on me. I called Hannah to the front, dropped to one knee, and revealed the ring. With tears streaming down her face, she said yes! The sheer joy I felt in that moment was indescribable—she had made me the happiest person in the world.
